“Paradox is an abstract piece inspired by Nijinsky’s diary which he wrote from 19th January to 4th March 1919 when hewas beginning to fall apart. He shut himself in his studio all night and drew circles and arcs with obsessive consistency. I used these drawings as inspiration for expressing in movement the feelings and random visions from his diary. I wanted to imagine what it was like to be inside his brain.”
