Charles Perrault's fairy tale staged by English choreographer Ross Freddie Ray received a new interpretation. The well-known story for kids about Little Red riding Hood has turned into a mystical story that will be interesting for both adults and children. This is a dark, mysterious ballet with one very bright accent – a red cloak.

In this fairy tale Little Red is a beautiful 19-year-old lady, fallen in love with a strange gloomy Woodsman. There are two worlds in the ballet – a cozy mountain town and a mysterious forest, where the Wolf-seducer and the Woodsman-hermit, whose wife disappeared many years ago, are competitors. The lovers will face many difficulties on the way to their happiness. But it will be special to everyone.

Music, created specially for this performance, modern costumes, made in medieval style; amazing scenery, based on Klimt's paintings; and new choreography, based on classical ballet steps – this will bring true pleasure to art lovers.

The World premiere took place on December 29 and 30 at «Zaryadye» Concert Hall in Moscow.
